Last night Cathi and I went to a movie. We selected Get Smart, but I am not sure why. I guess it was based on Steve Carrell's reputation for making funny movies alone. It had only received a 52% review on rottentomatoes.com , so it was very borderline. (By the way, if you don't know about rotten tomatoes, it is an awesome site in which they average together just about every single reviewer's review in America.)
This movie was not one of my favorite Carrell movies, but it wasn't one of his worst either. Here was the problem with it: I found myself laughing hysterically at many of the of the antics. However, some of the jokes fall very, very flat. I would say that the ratio of good to bad jokes was about 2:1. Not bad and just good enough that I would definitely recommend it. Just be ready to soak up a few stupid gags and jokes.
On a separate topic, half of Cathi's tooth broke off today. The dentist has been warning us about this for a couple years. I guess we should have got it fixed, but never wanted to pay for it. I guess it is a good thing that we returned the scooter. I told Lincoln that hopefully the tooth fairy comes and gives mom $1.00, that way it only costs $499.00 to fix it!

Oh...too bad Cath! Ouch!!! What happened...did you bite a popcorn kernal?
I had just put a piece of gum in my mouth when I noticed there was something that shouldn't have been there. When I pulled it out I realized it was part of my tooth. Luckily it doesn't hurt, it is just annoying. But I'm terrified it's going to start hurting. Hopefully I can get into the dentist quickly.
You're lucky it doesn't hurt! Are you going to Mom and Dad's dentist now? If so, maybe I'll see you there this week. We have appointments on Wednesday and Thursday morning....I have to split the kids up because 5 of us at the dentist would be an all day adventure!
