Heck yeah! Every year - I get sooo excited to pull out my old coats.. it never fails, money is in a pocket! I should really surprise myself next year (and leave a $50 in there.) I bet I would lose my mind and totally forget that I actually put it there on purpose!

I've got about 20 cents in my wallet.

If I had 20 bucks right now, I'd be KING OF THE WORLD!!! Or queen.

Reason number - well, it's over a thousand now - why I skipped that final stage.

This is so true. My college kids are here for the weekend and I am broke!

I get excited to find fifty cents in my classroom for a soda. I cannot fathom finding a $20. Way too exciting!

I would pee my pants if I found $20 in my pocket right now!

Funny how comes full circle like that! hahaha.

It is definately a bonus to have $20 in your wallet or in my case the car ashtray but it never stays there for more than a minute. DAng!

Tree said...

Hah ha! That's $20 more than I've got. ;)

Totally genius! And so, SO true! I'd be thrilled to have 5 bucks in my wallet. Oh wait, I do, but it's already spent too. BAH!

Jamie said...

I sincerely enjoyed this graph! I know how exciting it can be to have any substantial amount in your wallet once the children start chipping away at your lottery winnings. Ugh!

Can I borrow $20?? That's $200 in Ramen Noodle currency!!!!!

Problem with having 20 dollars in your wallet is the kids have a sixth sense about it. they'll bug the heck out of you until you spend it on them. Forget telling them it has to last until your next paycheck. They'll keep it up. Then their is the spouse who will sneak it out of your wallet because they didn't have any lunch money. Guess I just explain why I don't keep cash on me.

Hello there...What a coincidence that you read the Dog Food book to your 1st graders! So glad you appreciated seeing the carved fruit and veggies once again! Now, you should start showing your students how to carve their own snacks....what do you think about that? Hee...Hee...

I laughed so hard when I gazed upon this graph! *sigh* Good thing I was not drinking any liquids at the time... it would have been disastrous!

$20 will get you a nice razor for your promise - I've got ten friends I'm gonna bring over ;)

ScoMan said...

Kids.. they ruin everything.. except your excitement over having $20 in your wallet apparently.

They don't ruin that, they boost that right up.

You got this right! I'm thrilled with the quarter I found in my pocket about 15 minutes ago.

Julie said...

Oh can you share. I think if I'm lucky I have $5.00 in ones and that's just because I sold a couple dozen eggs this week.
I hope you have a great weekend. Take care and God Bless!

Christy said...

I kept thinking about how nice it would be just have $20 IN my wallet.

Truer graphs were never plotted!

Whoa so you could print that out as a scatter diagram, or maybe a pie also? Mmm. pie.

What a hoot and so true! Once you have kids, you're lucky to have $20 in your wallet for a few seconds!

I once threw a 20 dollar bill in the trash! (by accident and thought I'd have a heart attack)
I'd be right there with you - off the charts excited!

Ha! I love the graph! I can totally identify. Actually, I can't. I NEVER have cash. My poor kids. I hardly even have quarters for those quarter-suckers at the grocery store. Still, I loved the post!

W.C.Camp said...

What is a $20 bill because I don't think I have ever seen one? Is that one of those green things with a picture of a dead guy on it? W.C.C.

So, this is actually a dream of mine, to always have $20 in my pocket. So, I've commented, it says if I comment all my dreams will come true. Buddy I expect you to fulfill your end of this little bargain.

Seriously, doesn't matter what stage of life I'm in, I'm always beyond thrilled to have $20 in my wallet. Doesn't happen much these days. I burn through it fast.

So true. And how is it my kids have more cash than I do?

Pedaling said...

hey, can you spot me a 20?

Sam Liu said...

Ha! I'm yet to reach some of the stages of your graph, but I can tell from the comments that a lot of people agree :D

Stephen C said...

You are one interesting and funny dude, Dude.

Teachinfourth said...

Isn't it strange just how things seem to come full circle?

Corrina Terry said...

Love this! I agree! Once I had kids I told my family all of my $ was going to diapers, wipes, and batteries and I should invest in those companies to try and get some of my $ back. Right now I have about $6 in my wallet (after buying school clothes for my kiddo) and I'm feeling pretty rich!

Hart Johnson said...

*snort* You spouse must not steal money from your wallet like mine does.

Welcome to the Garden of Egan said...

OK, now I'm laughing.
I can't believe don't have a couple of C notes in their.

I work with a bunch of ER docs and invariably when we are ordering lunch we nurses end up buying cuz the docs got nothin'!

mCat said...

Wait - you have a 20?

I have nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

Splenda Daddy is gonna have to get that remedied.

Yanet @ 3 Sun Kissed Boys said...

20 bucks is a good laundry day when I find that in the dryer. I can be QUEEN of garage sales with $20 bucks!

TisforTonya said...

$20... pretty sure that'd clothe the left foot of my eldest son on a good day. ANY cash in my wallet is downright amazing most days.

Anonymous said...

I feel ya ! Well not literally because that would just be awkward.. but since Ive had kids.. Im the poorest person I know.

Marlene said...

Ha ha! Love it! Can't even remember the last time I had a $20 bill in my wallet. Hmmm....most days I'm lucky if there's a five spot in there.

Vanessa said...

I never have that much cash. Ever. And if I do, it is gone in a matter of minutes.

Powdered Toast Man said...

I would be excited for $1. Once I found a turkey leg in my pocket, I got $5 for that bad boy.
