Sitting in the Front Seat, Sitting in the Back Seat. This will help you make your mind up.

I recently heard that Rebecca Black's "Friday" has been taken off YouTube, which is an absolute shame.  I guess you will have to fill the void with my first graders cover of the classic tune, which is far better anyway! (My thanks to Steven Colbert for allowing me to steal his beginning bit.) My apologies for the heads in the way and the camera work.  My beloved wife is near perfect, but camera work is not her strong suit.

If nails on a chalkboard can be turned into a symphony, you could do it. It was excruciatingly adorable.

And think... 20 years ago these kids would be dancing the Macarena...

Good job kids.

as much as I hope that is the only time I have to hear that song - I enjoyed it...

even if my eyes were consistently attracted to the backward "F"... :)

I am a tad bit sad that my daughter is going on to second grade and we've missed our chance of having you as an awesome teacher. (completely ignoring the killer commute that would be...)

While watching your video, my 13 YO busted in the room singing along! lol She loved it and I thought it was cute too! Now, she keeps singing the song. Must be stuck in her head.

You guys seem to have more performances than any school I have ever seen. And why oh why did you let them sing that?

I think your wife did fine as well as the kids. It was that warm-up guy who started the whole thing off that I am not so sure about?? Fun Vid! W.C.C.

I am so OCD that I couldn't help but notice the backwards letters.

The song was excruciatingly annoying.

But the kids are cute, and I think that having a job like this would be wicked awesome (except the lifesaver part, re the lifesaver blog). I think you do well with what you do. Keep up the good work (and humor =D sorry I haven't been there w/ comebacks, school & internship have been pretty busy)

If I could be any human in the world I would be the small gentleman in the front in the white shirt. The one who had jumping beans for breakfast. That guy knows how to party, man.

In addition, you're a pretty awesome teacher. ...but them again... you knew that. :)

oh.. so nice post.)
Love your blog.))

I now spend a survey of bloggers with such questions.
1. Why did you create a blog?
2. For whom you taking him? Want to be popular?
3. How long will it keep going?

So awesome and cute. I have to ask how many kids you teach. Good grief! It was so sweet but I was waiting for a Lord of the Flies moment. Do you ever wonder if they'll turn on you?

Is it possible to "like" this song?
Yes. When sung by a gaggle of adorable 1st graders.
This is the ONLY way this song should ever be song.

Once again, I am sitting here thinking how lucky your wife is! ;-) I'm a very happy woman in my relationship, but dang...you are a pretty awesome dude!

A man who has personality, skills and is great with kids??? They are tough to come by.

You'll be my backup plan. Okay? hehe...

I can't listen to this right now, because I'm sitting in the lobby of my hotel, acting like I'm busy working on my laptop when in reality I'm eavesdropping on the two producers next to me, who are planning some big movie with Nicole Kidman. If I clicked on your 1st grader's rendition of Friday, I have a feeling, my cover would be blown.

I'll check it later, but I love Stephen Colbert's rendition. Utter brilliance.

Joann Mannix said...

And like I said before that little man in the front KICKS IT with his rock and roll style. Rock on little man.

Awesome job as usual, Cheese.
