1st Grade Christmas Program VIDEO #6 - Grand Finale - Snowman Medley

This was our final number for the program and it brought the house down.  This song is a medley of popular music all about snowmen.  (For those in Utah, it is inspired by the song Once There Was A Snowman.  For those outside of Utah, you will still like the video)

I'd love to claim credit for the words for this music, but the words were done by a Utah group called "Inside Out".   You can find their stuff here.

I promise, you will not regret watching this video.  This was the last song and the parents gave the kids a long standing ovation.  I have no idea how we will top this next year.

NOTE: THIS IS THE FINAL VIDEO IN A SERIES OF 6 VIDEOS.  IF YOU HAVE NOT YET WATCHED THE OTHERS, YOU CAN FIND THEM BELOW.

And now I give you... The Once There Was a Snowman Medley

My First grader's program looked stale compared to yours. Not to mention there are 8 classes of 30 in our school, so 10 times the size of yours... I bet those kids will love singing forever because they had so much fun dancing and singing such fun songs!

The joy you bring to these kids,...You have taught them the pleasure of working together, appreciation of music and an outgoing attitude. Awesome!

Abe, my ultimate, ultimate friend…you bring to this world a measure of happiness which cannot be topped. I LOVED this program…I also have this particular CD and you made me want to dig it out and give it another listen.

EXCELLENT job, sir!

I might even have to steal this idea for my class next year...

When we first got this cd I think my kids and I listened to this song about a million times--talk about inside out and out of the box. Love all of your videos--sorry I haven't had a chance to comment on each one--you have done a great job with your kids--someone should get you one of those plaques that says "To teach is to touch a life forever"..........{{{just sayin}}

I LOVE that version, it's so much fun. I remember the first time I heard/saw it I was completely dying.

I'm MOST impressed with how much alll the kids are doing the choreography and getting into it and having so much fun. Having taught music in an elementary school, I know how hard it is to get them all to remember everything and actually DO it! Clearly you're awesome.

Super cute. thanks for sharing.

Original! NICE! Hey, have you heard about Mumford & Sons. You may not like it, but man I'm addicted. The Cave and Little Lion Man are awesome. (beware Little Lion Man contains the f word in the chorus)

I cannot believe you got all those first graders to do ALL those songs! The kids must love it and the parents too! What do the other grades do? Did you have your own show???? (Just asking 'cause I ran our Winter Program for the first time this year at my school and I'd love to shake things up a little next year!)

Merry Christmas!

It is so nice to visit your blog of cheese after much respite and lack of writing drive. Your musical at school was a hit, I am sure! Merry Christmas and Very happy new year to you!
