Dew of Mountain.

Definitely what I should use to paint my living room......maybe not?

I'm "shrek was here" with envy that you came up with this! I'm going to hold my breath until I turn "caribbean sea" out of jealousy! My face is all "molten lava" out of embarrassment!

:) You're funny. :)

I like Bloddy Hell, especially in the kitchen.

Chuck a Rama after party....HYSTERICAL
with a graph like that, it would make my painting decisions so much easier.

Copyboy said...

Lol. That's hilarious.

Dazee Dreamer said...

Chuck-a-rama after party. you kill me. lmao

I saw you over on Kristen's blog and I thought I'd be nosy-good decision!
This is awesome! It makes me want to go buy really brightly colored paint!
Also I'd really like to see someone get Chinese in a Barney costume so I think I'm going to have to follow you now.

The Bipolar Diva said...

LMAO! That's wonderful!

As always, you are hilarious! My favorite was the chuck o ram a one!

Just want you to know that, even though I don't post a comment very often, I do read you. Lots of fun.

Wouldn't it be fun to tell people when they come over to your house that you painted the living room bloody hell? I'm laughing now thinking about it....

Connie said...

The Up-Chuck-a-Rama green would be perfect for a bathroom.
Great color wheel for all your painting needs!

salmon skin is what I think hubby stated painting the outside of the house.
it is not what the paint chip looked like! good excuse not to finish painting!

Jason, as himself said...

Ew! Salmon Skin Surprise!

Chuck-o-rama after party - LOL. Perfect!!! Plum crazy - that's my color!!! and Overly-buttered Yam - would be delicious especially spackled with brown sugar. =D Great color wheel.

-stephanie- said...

You nailed it! If these were actually paint color names, I would know exactly what they were talking about.

That is the exactly how I like my yams.

I love this chart but I think that yellow is closer to the color "YOUR IN TROUBLE" and the Purple looks more like "PURPLE NURPLE" than frostbitten toenail. Somehow in physics, I think your colors would have been easier to memorize than 'ROYGBIV'. W.C.C.

Fantastic color names! Very creative.

my favorite is Elderly Woman's Hair - I used to work at a theatre in Downtown Denver - every Saturday Matinee was known as the "blue hair showing"...

Alex J. Cavanaugh said...

I think instead they name racehorses.

Confessions of a Closet Hoarder but you can call me Judy said...

Love the 'Frostbitten Toenail'!

Marnie said...

LMAO!! Elderly womans hair. Now that is both funny and true.

Marnie said...

I just read your goal for 500 followers. I so want to see that happen :0D

Lisa Loo said...

You need to add Confucius colorblind.......

Stacy Q said...

Bwwwaaahhhh!

I always suspected Elephant Breath was just about that color!

unmitigated me said...

So, my bedroom color is somewhere between Freshly Mown Avatar Forest and Chuck-a-Rama After Party?

fake baked snookie---bwhaaaaa

I love the Fake Bake Snookie. With a name like that, no one would ever purchase that paint again, except the orange girl herself.
You're awesome. I also can't wait for the Barney performance.

i'm thinking those are great names that we can all universally identify...and happily wouldn't confuse with the others! :D

Unknown said...

I loved those! I want to be a paint namer when I grow up...or maybe a neighborhood street namer. Anyway, "You Blue It" was my favorite.

Macey said...

Hahahaha! Dew of Mountain is my fave!

Leeuna said...

Well, that settles it. I'm doing my bedroom in Plum Crazy. Great color! Thanks for the color samples.

Amanda said...

It's the Jersey Shore reference that makes it art.

Marlene said...

Elderly women's hair? OMG....*snarf*!!

Sara @ Domestically Challenged said...

You've got this down!

mCat said...

Best color wheel ever. I think you should submit it to Home Depot

Hart Johnson said...

*snort* Oh, very nice!

I always thought that the person whose job it was to sit around and come up with names for paint, race horses or lipstick had the best job in the world. You know, if you ever find yourself "made redundant", I think you'd be really good at naming paint and horses. - G

Holly said...

So FUNNY!! I have to share this with my brother-in-law... He's paint manager at the local LOWE'S. ;p

Just SO said...

I think that naming paint colors would be a rockin' job.

Now, looking at your paint wheel I'm thinking I really like the "overyly buttered yam".

Nicole said...

Alright - next time I have to do a graph for work, I am calling you.
However, my fear is that you would slip in something CRAZY! LOL

Excellent, as always! :-)

sarah said...

As always, brilliant! I wish I could have a 'naming' job. :)

So since I don't comment as much as I would like, I did a little mention at mma of your blog today. Hope that's ok...

Good luck with reaching 500 followers! I'm hoping to see some Chinese Barney action here soon!

Alexandra said...

I want to know how to do this. Secret, please. It would so much fun, and the ideas? limitless.

Corrina Terry said...

Your imagination continues to amaze! :o)

Pat Tillett said...

that was really good! Beats the way we pick out colors...

Deidra said...

I like it. :) Especially "You Blue It" and "Frostbitten Toenail".

Powdered Toast Man said...

Dew of mountain is my favorite.

tiburon said...

I think you nailed that one. Especially the Up-Chuck-a-Rama after party ;)
