I totally warned you. I even said it was girly. I am safe to read this week. You will find out just how much we have in common. You might even trust me when I tell you not to visit! Ha! I don't have time to read BTW, I'm too busy reading textbooks for school. Photoshop.
Haven't read any of this series yet, but I PROMISED the librarian at my school that I would and she handed me the 1st two books. They are on my nightstand and now I am stuck reading them as I have to look her in the eye every day!
On the other hand, I've read some of this author's other works and they never disappointed me. I just hate being part of a giant bandwagon that's already gone by and missed me. :o)
I love it! Okay, I have to admit, I've seen you around the blogs and I finally had to come see what Cheeseboy is about. I love your blog. We also have some friends in common...:)
And the tiny little dark brown sliver of the pie is the percentage of your readers who know what the hell "mockingjay" is! That would be my demographic...

Maybe I am in the illiterate category since I am not familiar with it. I am a little slow when it comes to book trends. I hear The Davinci Code and a book called Harry Potter are making a splash these days.
I read the first book in the series, and would definitely read the other two -- but wouldn't buy them. Whatcha gonna do about it? :) (At least I've NEVER read the Twilight Series OR seen the movies and don't plan on it, either!)
I won't lie one bit. I've read the entire series and thoroughly enjoyed them. Yes, they could have been written a little bit better, but still...I enjoyed these books greatly. Boom! Done.
I finished reading it a couple days after it came out, you should do a graph about how many people are disappointed they read it--it would be 100%!! :)

ReplyDeleteYes, I read Mockinjay. I read the whole trilogy. Yes, it was a nice fun read. No, I won't blog about it. The rest of the world will.
And don't even START me on Twilight. Although the review post I did on that, was one of my finer pieces if I don't say so myself
