I'm "shrek was here" with envy that you came up with this! I'm going to hold my breath until I turn "caribbean sea" out of jealousy! My face is all "molten lava" out of embarrassment!
I saw you over on Kristen's blog and I thought I'd be nosy-good decision! This is awesome! It makes me want to go buy really brightly colored paint! Also I'd really like to see someone get Chinese in a Barney costume so I think I'm going to have to follow you now.
Wouldn't it be fun to tell people when they come over to your house that you painted the living room bloody hell? I'm laughing now thinking about it....
salmon skin is what I think hubby stated painting the outside of the house. it is not what the paint chip looked like! good excuse not to finish painting!
Chuck-o-rama after party - LOL. Perfect!!! Plum crazy - that's my color!!! and Overly-buttered Yam - would be delicious especially spackled with brown sugar. =D Great color wheel.
I love this chart but I think that yellow is closer to the color "YOUR IN TROUBLE" and the Purple looks more like "PURPLE NURPLE" than frostbitten toenail. Somehow in physics, I think your colors would have been easier to memorize than 'ROYGBIV'. W.C.C.
I love the Fake Bake Snookie. With a name like that, no one would ever purchase that paint again, except the orange girl herself. You're awesome. I also can't wait for the Barney performance. xoRobyn
I always thought that the person whose job it was to sit around and come up with names for paint, race horses or lipstick had the best job in the world. You know, if you ever find yourself "made redundant", I think you'd be really good at naming paint and horses. - G
Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Seriously after painting my house I think this would have been much easier!!
ReplyDeleteLove it :-D
Dew of Mountain.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely what I should use to paint my living room......maybe not?

ReplyDeletemy favorite is Elderly Woman's Hair - I used to work at a theatre in Downtown Denver - every Saturday Matinee was known as the "blue hair showing"...
ReplyDeleteI think instead they name racehorses.

i'm thinking those are great names that we can all universally identify...and happily wouldn't confuse with the others! :D
ReplyDeleteI loved those! I want to be a paint namer when I grow up...or maybe a neighborhood street namer. Anyway, "You Blue It" was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! Dew of Mountain is my fave!
ReplyDeleteWell, that settles it. I'm doing my bedroom in Plum Crazy. Great color! Thanks for the color samples.
ReplyDeleteIt's the Jersey Shore reference that makes it art.
ReplyDeleteElderly women's hair? OMG....*snarf*!!
ReplyDeleteYou've got this down!
ReplyDeleteBest color wheel ever. I think you should submit it to Home Depot
ReplyDelete*snort* Oh, very nice!

ReplyDeleteSo FUNNY!! I have to share this with my brother-in-law... He's paint manager at the local LOWE'S. ;p
ReplyDeleteI think that naming paint colors would be a rockin' job.
ReplyDeleteNow, looking at your paint wheel I'm thinking I really like the "overyly buttered yam".
Alright - next time I have to do a graph for work, I am calling you.
ReplyDeleteHowever, my fear is that you would slip in something CRAZY! LOL
Excellent, as always! :-)
As always, brilliant! I wish I could have a 'naming' job. :)
ReplyDeleteSo since I don't comment as much as I would like, I did a little mention at mma of your blog today. Hope that's ok...
Good luck with reaching 500 followers! I'm hoping to see some Chinese Barney action here soon!
I want to know how to do this. Secret, please. It would so much fun, and the ideas? limitless.
