I sent my husband to Costco about 15 minutes ago because I am not up to the senior citizens and their terroristic ways of getting to the free samples first. Let him chance his life. I'm not that brave.
Somehow I am not surprised. I'd tell you to look for my Aunt Gladys, but she doesn't work there anymore. She used to be one of the little old ladies handing out free samples at the Costco near you. You probably met her and didn't even know it.
We don't have a Costco either around here, but we do have a Sams. Sadly, I don't belong to it either. I found out a long time ago that if I bought food in bulk, the family will eat it in bulk. So much for trying to save some money...
I think you swapped "Waiting in Line" and "Free Samples." For the love...I waited for TWENTY SIX MINUTES the last time! It so wasn't worth the "veggie meatball" sample.
Yeah for Costco! We have one about thirty minutes away-- but frankly, the commissary is cheaper. I do, however, love to visit Costco when I go to Utah County to visit family. And if you go at lunchtime and get all the samples, you don't have to buy lunch!
hahaha, that is awesome! You are really advanced with those graphics-will you present this at a multi-level-marketing party I'm hosting in Utah County? It's an opportunity of a lifetime. If people could see how they really spend their time at Costco, then they would totally want to sell timeshares for me :)
We do the Sam's club thing but they have stopped a lot of the free food. My kid used to enjoy walking through there and having lunch! Nice Chart! W.C.C.
Your Costco still gives out free samples? Wow! The economic crisis in Vegas has severely affected the free samples at our Costco and Sam's Club. I am jealous!!!
I usually spend 50% of my time quoting the Simpsons episode where Marge takes Apu shopping at Monstromart, 50% feeling small and insignificant next to all the jumbo products, and 1% shopping.*
Funny! It's the same at Sam's Club. It's either a good thing or a bad thing to go hungry to Sam's. Do you really want to eat all that crap? Yes? Okay. Then it's a good thing!
I am feeling SO cheated. We don't have a Costco and I really like hot dogs. Especially free ones.
